Hi,
I have just purchased a 2004 Mini One Convertible and have a slight problem with the off-side Window. I have searched all the threads in this forum for a solution, but cant see one.
The problem is that when I close the door, the automatic 'last bit of lift' on the window does not give as much travel as the nearside window, hence I get more of a gap at the top and the window doesn't quite reach the proper finishing point (like the near side window does).
I know you can adjust the 'pressure' of the window on its rubber by adjustment underneath the door, or I can get inside the door and adjust the window position, but I was wondering if there is any way of adjusting this 'final' travel amount? If not what s causing the difference in travel between the two windows?
Any help/suggestions appreciated.
