JCW exhaust blowing

Right guys I have a 2006 Mini Cooper a that has the JCW kit on it and unfortunately the exhaust is blowing. Little, from where I can see it is coming from the underside of the backbox.
Are the JCW exhausts stainless steel? And can it be welded or would it be new exhaust time? Might be a stupid question but I'm completely new to mini's.
Thanks

Hi ya

The exhaust is stainless steel and can be repaired as long as it's not to bad.
It will need to be tig welded, so you need to find a good exhaust place near you, or a good welder with a tig plant.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply, it's blowing from near where the clamps are, where the backbox splits in two its blowing where the top half clamps to the bottom half if that makes sence. I have taken pictures but can't upload them as don't have enough posts yet but it doesn't look stainless steel?

I'm thinking of getting the jcw after looking at the different options as I want something that isn't in your face loud and would like to try kept the car genuine? I've tried emailing minigenuineparts.co.uk about the jcw exhaust but still waiting on a reply.
Is there anywhere else's that stocks them?

Are you sure its a JCW exhaust? I don't think the JCW exhaust came as standard with the JCW 210 upgrade, so if it's not stainless steel it probably isn't JCW. The logo'd exhaust tips were available seperately so if you have these they don't guarantee that its a JCW OEM exhaust system. Best take it to a MINI specialist for welding or replacement.
