Replacement driver side door handle **new member**

Hi guys, just looking for a lil advice.

Im considering replacing the driver side door handle on my 52 plate R50M mini cooper.

The chrome work is very damaged, cracked and peeling away and im not very happy with the look.

I think i can easily source a better example from ebay or local breakers.

Just wondering if anyone else has replaced/repaired the door handles on a R50 mini, was it an easy process?? would i neeed an special tools? any pointers or things to look out for?

Cheers guys

From what I've heard it's a fidly job to get to one of the 2 bolts holding it on. There's a major lack of room to get in.
I think it's an allen bolt but have a set of torx to hand just in case......and some plasters for the cuts on your hands
