Exclamation Engine mount bust... quick question!

Hi everyone,

I would like to ask. Today I heard my car rattling and was weird and it felt weird too so I opened the bonnet and (WHOLEY MOLEY Black Stuff everywhere! ) the engine mount is bust.

I know its no big deal and easy to replace BUT this is Malta... where parts take ageeeesssss to arrive (Local dealer told me to wait 3 weeks! Geez) so I will be contacting Chris soon to get a replacement as hes quicker .

My question is, while I wait for it, Can I drive my car without damaging anything?

Thanks!

Hi ya

These mini eat these mounts personally if I was you get a vibra technics one there much better I know there more money. But I lay money on you new one from mini not lasting long.
Best thing I ever done junking those old mounts fit and forget.

Vibra-Technics MIN906M Right Hand Engine Mount - Road - Orranje - New MINI Performance & Styling Products

Personal I would not drive it unless you really have to if you do just take it easy and smooth.
I would also check your other mounts to the lower one is prone to failing to

Hope this helps
