Climate control pulses pressure. Won't cool and recirculation stuck on.
I just bought an 03 mini cooper s. I love it so far, but have one problem with the climate control. When I turn the climate control on it spins up and gets to maximum fan, then shortly after slows down. This keeps pulsing like this. No cool air comes out.
I noticed that the recirculation button is stuck to on, and do not know how to clear it. When I turn off climate control, it stays on, and I can hear a motor trying to spin up, then dies underneath the glovebox.
Has anyone had this issue and know how to fix it? I have reset the ECU and even unplugged the battery for a spell to see if that would clear it up. I don't think it's a problem with the AC itself, but more of an electrical issue.
Should be noted that it didn't start happening until one day when I tried to roll down the windows at the same time the AC was running.
