Unhappy New Cooper Faults

My New Mini has had a fire under the bonnet insulation, can not find cause, and also has squeakes from hatch of car while driving,has anyone had similar faults?

As R1 says, there is plenty to be found via a search.

MINI/BMW are even replacing the older insulation under the bonnet with a new material.

Info only..

I have had cars before where i found the heated washer jets were the cause of under bonnet fires..belive me they set the bonnet sound deadning pad alight!
