Mini One R50 1.6 petrol 2003 135k miles
Since ownership (approx 2 years) our mini has had a flat spot when pulling away from stopped. It's more noticeable when cold but is apparent always when pulling off at junctions etc.
Sometimes it will stall if we forget to give it some extra revs which obviously can leave you stranded crossing a junction or at a roundabout.
Extra revs sort of gets round the problem but it never feels quite right and of course we're slipping the clutch more causing unnecessary clutch wear.
Recently we have replaced the spark plugs and the air filter which has not made any difference to the flat spot. We've also tried the suggestion of giving the electric fuel pump more time to prime before starting.
What can we check or change out next to try and fix this?
OBD reader displays no error codes.
Thanks in advance
