United-Kingdom Cooper Auto - Kangerooing at low speed

My Cooper (auto Chili-pak) kangaroo jumps from 0-10mph. I've had loads of software updates and wire loom replacements but it still kangaroo jumps. Mini service don't have a clue (obviously!). Any help out there?

Kangarooing at low speeds

See form under Performance: Bucking in first gear. We all have different phrases for this problem because we don't know what it is. The best explanation I've gotten is: With CVT (obviously I have an MC) 10 mph is the dividing line between first and second geat. The car can't make up its mind. I have minimized (but not eliminated) the problem by putting it into Sport Drive in first gear, and then gearing up at about 15 mph. Hope that helps.

Yep, I get that too. Sometimes it seems worse than others, but it could just be due to differences in driving conditions at the time. Hopefully now that 32.1 seems to have solved all of the more major problems, further software upgraes will smooth out these remaining little niggles. Since there are no pre-set gears in a CVT, there should be no "dividing lines" between gears. It is much better in Sport mode (even more evidence that it is something that they should be able to work out)so if it is really bothering you, just do as olalla said (and I sometimes do it too) and switch over into Sport mode if you're in a situation where you're traveling at these low speeds a lot.

olalla has this update, and if I recall from the other discussion it hasn't cured the problem.
