Major Electrical Problems

Just wondering if anyone else has had my Mini's problem. I live in Buffalo and yesterday it was 30 degrees in the morning. When I went to start the Mini it started but I had no power to the tack, the speedometer, no turn indicators, and no defrosters. Kinda of hard to drive an manual transmission without tack or turn indicator. The car is a week old with only 350 miles on it. I call Towne Mini to see what I should do and they told me to bring it in. Later on that morning my wife check the car and everything came back on, but the Service Engine Soon light was still lit. So I took a half day from work, drove the car to the dealer and sat there for 2 1/2 hours and they told me the car's computer had a "brain fart" (The actually words of the Service Manager). He told me that they world reset the computer and everything would be fine. It was fine, until the next morning, the same thing happened. It is at the dealer as I write. Any Suggestions.

Not heard that specific problem, although many have had the engine service light on. Try a search, might be the most helpful thing to do.
