Warning Lights, Speedo, and Odometer problem

I've seached around and read most of the threads regarding the DSC/flat tire monitor problem and the problem I'm having is different enough (I think) to start up a new thread.

I got a '03 MCS with about 3800 miles on it, and was driving around this weekend on about a 100+ mile trip. The day after I get where I'm going, the service engine light comes on when I start up the car. It isn't the gas cap or any of the suggested fixes. After drving around about 15-20 miles more, the car sits for about 20hrs. Next day, when I start the car, the service engine light comes on. In addition, the DSC, Flat Tire, and hand-brake lights all come on and stay on. PLUS, the Speedometer and odometer stop working completely, so I had to drive back home judging my speed on the tach.

I got an appointment on monday with my service dept., but thought I'd post here to see if anyone had any similar problems. It wasn't raining or any other unusual weather (40-70 degrees F). I was primarily driving on mostly straight two-lane roads through lots of small towns, no more than 65 mph, and no revs much more than 4k. I checked all the tires, fluids, and other easy to check out stuff, finding no faults. This is the first problem I've had with my MCS and any help would be greatly appriciated as I have to drive about 120 miles with no speedometer to my nearest service center.

here goes a longshot

Any updates on this problem? I have the same problems and so far I was advised to replace the DSC unit for $2800!
