Gen 1 Door Window Regulators

Found this gem of a video on YouTube where a broken window regulator was replaced, very entertaining but also informative. Viewer discretion advised for those of a sensitive nature or children under the age of 18 as frustration with German design comes with obligatory expletives. SeanC can probably relate to this video

I never had any problems doing my window regulator on my R55 however the regulator is slightly different in design. My only regret was not to mark the position of the window prior to removing it from the door as it was a pain in the erse to preposition and I had to do this twice as BMW also renewed the same door and made a shops front of aligning the same window! I did like the guy's style @Milpol but he is subtle compared to me when things are not quite going to plan. If I ever made a video when I was having a bad hair day it would most likely get banned from youtube. My one liners can be really disgraceful at times

The very fact that you've had to do them shows just how crap German window regulators are

my cable rusted and eventually broke due to a broken seal and eventually resulted in BMW renewing the entire door under warranty due to corrosion

I was waiting on the window exploding in the video. That would have been the icing on the cake
