My third windscreen!

Hi,

I've not even had my MINI a year and i've had to replace my windscreen for a third time. Anyone else been unlucky as me?

well I just replaced my windshield after less than 2 weeks. I sure hope it doesn't happen again, but I'm not counting on that. I was hit by a small pebble.

Polishing paint is not just my profession, it's my obsession.

you dont say whether you had to pay for all 3 screens yourself? lots of people have got them replaced by the dealer. check it out.

I'm on my third now within 3 months of getting the car - first one cracked, 2nd one leaked, the 3rd has been okay so far - all replaced by the dealer... it was teh 5 week wait for a screen that hacked me off....

Black/White Cooper -17", ss+, clear lenses, park distance, visibility pack, chili patina pack.

yeah the first time it was a stress crack, they tried to claim it was a stone chip but I was armed with info from this site and they did it under warranty, the first time it rained though all the headlining filled up with water, so they had to replace it again!
