The windscreen (heated and rain sensitive) on my 52
MCS was hit by a huge stone and had to be replaced. My insurance company arranged for a new screen to be fitted and this was duely done. The first screen fitted was fine but I noticed a big scratch that couldn't be polished out, so I've just had a second new screen fitted. No scratches, but now I get loads of wind noise from the passenger side of the car whenever I go over 50mph. I've had a close look at the fitting and its seems that they've installed the screen tight over to the dirvers side (you can actually see inside the door pillar cover from the outside its so far over). The rest of the job seems fine - the seals all look okay and seem to be seated properly. Does anyone know if the alignment could be causing the wind noise or could it just be that they haven't put the seals back properly? Is this dangerous and should I get the screen refitted?
Cheers jonty
PS and I thought the squeaky drivers seat was annoying.... :(
