Driver and Passanger Window Squeak

I've had my mini for about 5 months now when the automatic windows would make a squeaking noise when they are put up or down. It's the worst when it's really hot or humid out, but doesn't seem to do this after right after I wash the windows, but will a day later, or when it's quite cooler out.

Has anyone else experience this problem? If so, should I get it checked out by the dealer right away, because I was going to wait till service time to get it checked out.

Your dealer will shortly have a spray on gunk, which will be liberally applied at every TLC stopover, its now being applied at the factory so this should be the last we hear of it !

A gunk? Has this happen to other Minis? What exactly is the problem because it does sound more of a mechanical sqeak than the window rubbing against the trim?

The glass has contact with rubber seals, and channels in the door, the gunk (lets call it PTFE) but it isn't that, lubricates and smooths out any friction, this stops the noise. Comes in a spray bottle, its an official BMW spare/service part.
