Unhappy Electrical problems

Yesterday we discovered that the controls for the following items no longer work in our Mini Cooper: windows, turn signals, windshield wipers, door locks, moon roof, and radio controls mounted on the steering wheel.

However, we are able to start the car and drive it. We just can't use any of items mentioned above.

We've taken a look at the fuse box but nothing seems out of the ordinary. Does anyone have any idea what could cause such widespread electrical problems?

Many thanks,

Thy Tran

Had a very similar problem. The male wiring loom plug had seperated from the female plug up under the dash. Took a bit of fiddling and standing on my head in the foot well but I managed to push it back together and get it to lock together. My dealer then told me I should have taken into them to fix. I think it was quicker that I did it.

Thanks for the info. We dropped it off at the dealer this morning and they say they'll get back to us by tonight or tomorrow. I'll be interested to see if they fixed it the same way you did. Thanks again.
