United-Kingdom Is Sat Nav affecting my GPS Detector?!

I have had an Origin b2 detector since September and it has very rarely worked!!

The occasions that it has worked it is brilliant but I have had all of the parts replaced (individually) and it still does not like working!!

I know that my heated screen can affect the signal but was wondering if my sat nav unit was affecting it in any way?

Does anyone know of the best place to put the aeriel on a mini with a heated screen?!

Cheers,

Jones.

The heated windsreen will be your big problem. Put the aerial in the corner of the dash as the heating elements don't go right to the edge.
I have experience problems with units not aquiring satelites when they are close to another gps unit, but as your sat nav aerial will be at the back of the roof it shouldn't be a problem.
Be warned though, I have seen plenty of the above unit faulty

Cheers Mikeythemini.....Yeah, I used to have it in the front corner of the dash and it would work ok and then it just stopped working!! Very annoying!
Will be sending it back pronto! Can you advise any similar units with fewer reported problems?
