Question One Reliability?

How have MINI ONE owners faired on reliability? Is it mostly COOPER S with problems?

Thanks

My car has had a few niggles but in terms of reliability (i.e starting, running, electrical faults etc that could affect the driving of the car) it has been absolutely perfect over nearly 18 months and 18k miles.

Our (Abi's) MINI One has been reliable, in as much as it's never broken down, but it has had a HUGE number of problems, some minor, some more serious. It is an early build (March '02) though, and things have generally improved a lot since then.

My one has been great...only thing was the old problem of the knock on the steering but dealer seems to have sorted it out.
Approx 5500 miles since June this year
