World Wide problem poll - real results!

some companies out there like JD Power Associates, and others like to get stats on problems per 100 vehicles. So I thought it would be fun to create a world wide snapshot of their tests for the end of the 2003 year.
So the first 100 who post please be honest about how many problems you have had.
and if you have a cracked windshield or there are small woodland creatures making homes in your ducks, those sort of things don’t count as a manufacture flaws!
you all get the idea.
I personally have not had one problem with my car.
have fun!

We have two Cooper S's, which have both had various faults, which is why I've posted '10 plus'.

You also might want to change the question to how many problems since purchasing your MINI.

I had no problems WITH the purchase. I have had some since though. :rolleyes.

EDIT: I counted problems with the bog, cold start and yo yo as 1 since it's all the ECU. THAT is hte real problem. Everything else is just symptoms of the ECU failure.

I voted for 1 problem, torn handbrake boot, I had one recall I didn't count as the problem was fixed before it was an actual problem.

1 voted for 2. 1st problem was driver's window ceased to operate --dealer replaced window regulator. 2nd problem was remote key wasn't programmed properly for delivery --only lock & unlock. Dealer programmed key, and after some arguement with cashier "waived" the programming fee. Did not count recall, since this posed no actual problem for me (hood recall)

800 miles in three weeks and already I have to have my transmission replaced. I find that to be utterly unacceptable.

im sorry that happened to you.
I am shocked that there are this many people who have had problems so far.
I hope there are more of you out there who have had no problems.
I actually lied that I didnt have any problems, my white reflector in my door falls out every now and then. but I didnt count that one.

1 "problem" so far ... after a 150 mile run on a hot day in August (37-39°C). Cooling fan stayed on after stopping the car, decided it was not normal after about 10 mins and rung MINI helpline (FR) who told us to disconnect the negative from the battery.

It's never repeated the fault, but there again, I've never repeated the same driving conditions either !

All in all, I'm a very happy owner ... and the Mrs is too
