Fog light relay

I have a slight problem with my fog lights, both the front and rear sets have stopped working all of a sudden I have looked and both fuses seem to be ok, the bulbs are ok too so all I can think of is that its the relay.

Anybody else had this problem

Is the relay easy to change?

I would hope that I would get this on warenty?

p.s. I can't just pop in to my dealer as it is 12 hours away by boat and about a £300 dent in the wallet

Do the toggle switch indicators still light on the switch panel. Perhaps you lost the programming option??

Try disconnecting the battery for about 10 mins to reset the BCU and reconnecting. If all is well you should have your fogs back.

I've mentioned this method for any electronic related problems on the MINI range. This is the first thing to try (and incidentally the first thing BMW try too).

If this fails to work then start looking elsewhere.

Actually I don't know why this info has never been posted in the FAQ or something.

It was acceptable in the 80's
