Blue Cooper Can you ever feel the steering column with your foot when steering?

I am sure this is not a fault but merely a feature of smaller cars. Often when i am steering, the column rotates against my left foot, which is a little annoying. This is at the point where the steering column goes through the floor of the driver's footwell. I have size 8 feet and sit quite far back from the steering wheel. Am i missing some kind of guard plate or have other people experienced this?

This has happened to me too
I'm only size 8. You'll need to adjust your driving position to avoid this,
You do get used to positioniong your foot differently on the clutch

MINI, RX8 and MX5 - Done those............. It's now TTime

I don't feel it. I am a size nine. I think you may need to position your foot differently on the pedal
