| As I understand it, MINI foots the whole bill and the dealer gets paid a good rate for warranty work. You can go to any dealer for warranty repairs - they aren't linked back to the dealer that sold the car. |

| Re: Who pays the bill...? Correct BMW/MINI pay the bill for service/warranty work. I'd argue that warranty work is less well paid than normal retail work due to the volume (MINI are in effect a bulk purchase customer). But, the cynics answer is that: we the big mugs pay the bill when we buy our MINIs. The cost of warranty work will be factored into the list price. There is just one moon and one golden sun; And a smile mean friendship to ev'ryone; Through the mountains divide, and the oceans are wide; It's a small world after all. |
