Now we have another thing in common. Both have cracked windscreens, at the same time. Mines on it third screen, needs a new one, hers is on her second. Both cracked from the outer edge inwards.

I have had a crack in my windscreen since new (July 03). The crack is in the top near side corner, about 2" long, across the black tinted area (corner to corner, just visible). My dealer has agreed it is a manufacturung fault but I have decided not to replace it yet until I absolutley need too (stone chips etc). So far so good, the crack has not extended and is only just visible.

Mine was on the passenger side bottom of the screen, obscured by the tax disc. Was having a chip filled and they noticed it, I had it replaced 3 days ago, with little fuss after I told them that i knew mini's were prone to this problem.
