Heated Front Screen is COLD...Brrrrr

My wonderful heated front screen decided it wasn't having any of it this morning .
I hit the front screen de-mist button expecting a rapid defrost...however
the lamps shone in all the right switches,
the air was directed to the front screen,
the rear window de-misted beautifully,
but the front screen remained ice-bound ...apart from 4 ever-increasing circles that got
bigger as the heated air did the job of the heater element

So...does anybody know where the fuse for the front screen element is located?
(My hand-book is 60 miles away and it will be cold and dark when I get home!)

The manual doesn't show a list of fuses anyway....
Take the cover off the fusebox in the passenger footwell the list is on the cover OR
under the bonnet to the right of the battery or on the s beside the air filter box on the right once again list inside...

I found the fuse under the bonnet...thing is, it looked perfectly intact.
I gave it a "bit of a wiggle" and then switched it on and I must admit that when viewed from inside the car, the world did take on a distorted view.
But that usually happens when I sit in the driver's seat anyway .

The big test will probably be tomorrow morning.

Bit concerned my fuse needed a wiggle though
