 Headliner Buzz--Please Help! My MINI has an annoying buzz that seems to be caused by the headliner in the rear near the C pillar. I've taken it to the dealer numerous times and it's never been fixed. I have the newest striker, bump stops, etc. The buzz is most apparent during steady cruising (at any speed) around 3000 RPM. By pressing against the headliner at the C pillar the buzzing will stop. Also, when the car has sat in the sun for hours, the roof/headliner seems to heat up and there is no buzz. When pressing against the headliner it seems to have some play, as if sticking and unsticking. Is this normal? It makes a clicking sound while pressing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I've done all the searches and FAQ.  |
