Whine when idling?

I picked up my 04 MCS last Monday and have been enjoying it thoroughly. However, I've noticed a whine at idle. I think it's the power steering pump fan but I'm not 100% sure. Can the PS fan normally be heard or is it something I should have the dealer check?

FWIW, I didn't notice the whine on the ones that I test drove.

But I love the supercharger whine when it's running!

You must be mad if you dont like the supercharger whine. Took a girl out in my car and its one of the things she commented on, so it also has other applications where it can put a smile on your face.

I dont have the whine when standing still but is it when STANDING still or turning the wheels when still, because that would be normal.

I think the whine he's referring to is the Power Steering pump.... not the supercharger
