Angry noise noise and more noise (wheel bearings?)

I have searched threads, read posts and have almost been successful.

i have a problem with my mini cooper. i'm thinking wheel bearings and i have a power washer... so its highly likely i messed up my seals i'm guessing. Can any one describe well teh noise that bad wheel bearings make....

the noise is constant at 70 and its liek a long squeek. its also very bad at about 10mph when rolling in traffic. its squeek (quick pause) squeek ect... BUT...

when i touch teh brakes some time its a very loud squeek. i recently had my rear pads changed and i thought this would help but it hasnt, they said my disks were fine. i'v done 26000 miles and its depressing with all my problems.

so is my noise wheel bearings? oh and also when i had an almost full mini teh noise was gone.. i guess its time to get some friends with out mini's?

also for god sake every time i go in witha fault every time they say your windows are not right again.. and they end up replacing summat that costs them, quite funny. they dont it 3-4 times now and it still dont work.

Wheel bearings are always noisier when you're turning.
If it's worse when you apply the brakes I tend to think it's the brakes that are the problem.
