Window wont open

Can anyone help or must i take it to a dealer.
This morning for no reason my drivers side window refuses to operate.
You press the button and can hear it clicking but nothing happens.
Also when you close the door the window doesn't jump up like it used to.
The passenger side window still jumps up and down a small amount when opening or closing the door. (Like it should)
Any ideas or must i reluctantly take it to dealer ??

Sounds to me like a trip to the dealers is called for.

I went to pull my car into the garage and found that the drivers side widow doesn't work!
The list of things that have broken on this car is really long. I'm a bit afraid to own this car when the warranty expires.

thankfully it was the passenger side that went out. this way i could still access ATM's & drive through windows :-)

i took it in & they had to replace the Motor & Regulator (according to the work order).
