Tweeter Crackle - Try Yours

I have a MC with standard speekers and 6 disc autochanger. Within a week of having the car I noticed the front left tweeter crackles a number of times when the second track on U2's "All that you can't leave behind" is about 30 seconds form the end.

Since then I have noticed this on many occasions on different tracks and the radio and so I went back to the dealer. They replaced the tweeter but it still happens.

The tweeter has been replaced a further time and it appears to be even worse than ever!!

I encouraged the Service Engineer to try the CD in another MINI in their workshop and it does the same thing. We then tried it in a 5 Series with HK setup and it worked fine.

They want it back now, after I have complained some more, but this time they want me to leave it with them for 4 days!!

Could anyone let me know if they have experienced this problem and how you have had it resolved?

Also anyone who has not noticed the problem in their MINI could you try the same U2 track and let me know if it happens to them. I am pretty convinced it is a general fault on all standard MINI's.
