| think 3rd gear is going.... the shift into third is getting notchy and generally like it doesn't want to go in. worst when it's cold and when changing up into third. to me it feels like linkage but i'm not sure. i'm right in thinking this is a common problem? my mini goes out of warranty in 2 days so unlikely to get it fixed under warranty. what is the problem with the box? is it the linkage or the selector forks or something else? (i may be able to fix it myself but would like to know what the problem is before i start) any help much appreciated, yrs t_t TVR Tuscan S. 400bhp, 0-60 3.8 0-100 8.08. 195mph. Silver/Black roof Cooper. Hillclimb MK2 Fiesta. 150bhp. Beats Subarus. Building a 'bike engine single seater. 320kg, 200bhp. around 600bhp per ton. 0-100 6 seconds.  |
