Ireland Help- someone reversed into Ned!

Just wondering if anyone has any advice how I could get Ned's bum stitched up (scratch/ bump) or get it fixed please let me know. I suspect another driver with a tow bar bumped into him! Its about 3-4 inches long.
Is there something I could just paint or brush up on it? Stick a marker on it? or do I need to take it to the garage?

Sorry for the pic...he's a bit dirty (he's normally cosmic black)...weather in dublin hasn't been great...

Poor mini :-(

Really hard to tell from the picture - have you tried polishing the area? I came home to find my previous car with nasty black marks down the side of it - looked really nasty - luckilly turned out to be where someone had scraped their wing mirror down the side and a good session with some cutting polish did the trick :-)

Hope your Mini gets better soon!

Yea, tried going over it with a cloth...the white bit is the plastic under the paintwork...so might need to take it to the garage or try touch up paint....just looking for ideas.

If the ' White bit is under the broken paint you will have to get a professional repair done OR have a go yourself , sand back the damaged area with 400 / 600 grit water paper and leave no edges , you might need a little filler or ' stopper ' to fill any dents / scrapes , prime the local repair with an aerosol of grey primer then sand back with say 1200 grit water paper and paint with aerosol of the correct colour , this is expensive on materials but if you have no access to ' body shop ' equipment it's the only way , otherwise just tidy up with some touch-up paint from your local motor factor as a temp measure .

BTW are you going over to Sligo for Aiden's ' North West Run ' Oct 23/24 ? .
