Shock - MINI dealer books car in for left pull fix and offers courtesy car!

Sorry for the long title but my dealer has just had a look at my MINI and confirms it suffers from the left drift syndrome (I have known that for ages but not bothered making a fuss).

He said there is a fix and he has booked it in for 10th June to have the work done. They need it for two days so he offered me a courtesy car. I didn't even say I needed one. They picking it up and dropping it off from my work.

Good work Broad Oak BMW!

Good to hear Monsta. Are you getting a ONE or Beemer?
I got a Beemer as I insisted the work on my car got done a.s.a.p. otherwise it was a wait until the end of June for their ONE to be available.

I've got a 316i auto at the moment as a courtesy car and beleive me it isn't worth putting to the test. I gave it a good thrashing but the grin just wasn't there
Lovely smooth engine though if a bit gutless.
I can't wait until tomorrow when my MINI comes home...

I remember driving a BMW 525 when I first starting working (it was the bosses) and it had crap acceleration and handling.

My Rover Cooper 1275cc felt faster.

Still its worth wearing the tyres out a bit even if it is a crap car!

well im sure you could get the ars out on a 316, monsta if you cant then give me a call and i'll get the blighter sideways, and you can take it back with slicks!!! I dont want to blow my own trumpet but I think ive mastered the oversteer technique, I got my brothers Alpine B3 Cab sideways, but it wasnt very hard with all that power...! **** i hope he doesn't read this....

Lets hope it is good old Broadoak! Still haven't been back to them for confirmation of my drift. I was waiting for a few cars to go through the fix first to see if the steering and handling were affected.
