| exhaust bracket broke off  Yesterday whilst driving smoothly all over sudden loud noise from the rear. Stopped my mini one and looked at the back. the exhaust allmost came off. What happened was that the rear bracket of the exhaust with the vibration rubbers broke off. It appears that it was completely rusted, and this ony after 3 years and 30000km.Phoned the dealer and they never came along this problem before. They ordered a new bracket and it will be fitted today ,but as to me this bracket is of enferior quality I do not want to pay for it. must be garantee. any one else had the same? My mini one has the original exhaust fitted and no modifications done to it. If not check your bracket and look at the status of it.  |
