Cold weather and horns..

I think you would be better off taking it to a dealer in Florida. They would thaw them out and solve the problem.

My drivers side horn stopped working...so it sounded pretty lame with just the one tone from the pax side.

It wasn't that it froze, it just broke...so maybe that happened to you also.

I have two tones...

... but they sound like a baby sheep... really high picthed and all... I even tried letting the car warm up forever, I thought maybe the heat from the engine would warm them up... survey says : negative!

I think one of my horns has gone out too. Its sounding pretty pathetic lately. Guess MINI horns don't like the cold.

waiting until spring, don't wanna waste money on new horns if they'll thaw out ok, glad I'm not the only person with the issue though..
