All makes of cars can/do have problems but I am sure MINIs are getting better all the time. By the time you get yours the convertable will be a year old so early problems will be ironed out.

What would you get instead anyway?

Astro Black Cooper S. CHILLI, chrome line interior and exterior, piano black trim, PDC, MFSW, tinted rear glass.

Wink

There is no other car I want but I had a mini one in 2002 and had awful problems and it ended up having to go to court because the dealer would not do anything so I AM a little nervous. I have been driving an opel astra for the past two years and I hated it. Always had a little pang when I saw the mini. Just dont want to make the same mistake twice.

Get to know ALL the probs people have had, check the car well on delivery and keep the dealer on he,s toes, (says the man given the runaround.)

TOP OFF AT LAST. (Everybody be cool, you, be cool.)

If you go on this sort of site and read about peoples problems you would never buy any car - except possibly a Yaris/Corolla. Did you want one of those? Its probably more relevant how many on here have had more than one Mini, and I think you will find a lot have. Whatever the gripes they still wouldn't want anything else!
