Problem with run flats sidewall separating from the ply? Parked my car and noticed that something with the passenger front tire felt strange. When I looked, the sidewall had about a 2 inch section that had separated from the ply. I did not hit or drive over the curb. So not sure how this may have happened. Was wondering if it was some defect that others had experienced or?...Does anyone know if this can be repaired or are new tires the only way? If I have to buy new tires, am cringing at the costs I've seen others list where I am in San Francisco California. Can anyone recommend a reasonable run flat and do you suggest going to the dealer versus a tire store? Many thanks. |
