Engine blown, BMW/MINI wont replace it

that is poor man.....but there was a programme on over here in the uk that featured a mini (called watchdog i think) and there was a girl who had been out with her mate and they pulled up at her house and went inside, next minute a huge explosion and the engine had burst into flames

by the end of the show they had had a number of phone calls from people who said the same had happened to them...i mean the insurance covered it but bumps up ya premium for next year!

think im gonna go check my oil tho now..

lamamini, I'll be much more careful with checking everything from now on, I just hope this was the last problem with the, at least big problem, I mean these arn't small things like a rattle or Headunit that's not working correctly.

I still have a mechanic sound sometimes when I put in second gear, I told them to check it yesterday but it seems as if they didn't, well I'm going monday and we will see what happends.
