Remove sunroof control panel

Searched and found nothing. Any ideas how to remove that panel? That's where majority of my noise is coming from at the moment.

When the sunroof is fully closed, it rattles like a rattling snake. When it's on vent position, much improved but it's still there but disappeared when the sunroof is fully open. Then again there's a loud bang from the back of the roof.....

Any help appreciated

I have the same problem.

Also bad rattle from the rear of the car and a jerky/noisy drivers window.

All on the list for warranty work........

Found the rattle from the rear of the car. The metal eye on the boot lid was vibrating against the locking mechanism. One piece of elastoplast later and problem solved.

Same thing

Hey,

I had the exact same problem with my car, and it's been going on for a long time. I have asked 2 different dealerships to fix it on 5 different occasions, and each say that they have fixed it, when they don't really. If you guys find any answers, let me know, and I will do the same.

I just copied and pasted this from another post I made...

Yes... I have an '02 MCS that has that annoying rattling at night or cold. Good news - I finally fixed it.
I found out that it was the two wind deflectors that rattle up and down when the roof is closed - of course. I just went to an office supply store and picked up some felt padding with an adhesive side. The kind you put on the bottom of chairs to slide across the floor. I put them on the top and bottom of both deflectors - not too many though. You should see some wear marks on the deflectors where they make contact to the roof. You may also need to add some to the bottom of the sunroof as well.
Don't add to many as this can leave a gap for water to get in!
Hope this helps!
