Help me with an interior light problem please

Can somebody please help me out

My interior lights are playing up... When I unlock the car the overhead center light doesn't come on as it usually does. Instead the boot light fades on instead. When I press the center light button the boot/footwell lights are operated instead. What going on

I have checked that the boot and both doors are shut..

The footwell lights coming on when you operate te center switch is perfectly normal (never checked the boot), if the center light is off all the time i suppose it could be something as simple as a blown bulb, otherwise you could be having some sort of electrical gremlin. Don't despair though, i am sure there will be someone in here a lot more clued than me that can help you out.

Hi there,

It's probably the center bulb. However there is a master reset you can do on in by holding the center on button for about 10 seconds. Your footlights and boot light are connected to the centre light so if they're coming on it is probably just the bulb, but worth a try.
