Question Condensation inside driving lights...a fault?

When I picked up my car it was all a bit of a rush for them and they didn't quite finish off the cleaning...it looks like they steam cleaned the car. Now I have condensation inside the driving lights...it has reduced a little, in fact today it dissapeared, but tonight it's back again.

Do you reckon this is a fault? I would have thought they would be sealed as this would stop it happening should they get wet when washing...I've never seen it on any other auxillary lights before.

Is it worth mentioning to the dealer along with a couple of other snags or is it something thats normal?

OEM driving light are not totally water tight and are prone to condensation, this is quite common but keep an eye on any internal corrosion that may occur.
I know Mini have change supplier for these driving lamps as the old OEM lamps are very prone to corrosion.

Definitely bring it to your dealeers attention right away and get it entered into your service record so that if it becomes a problem in the future you already have it on record as a warranty issue. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

The same happened to my driving lights when the car was washed at the dealer - the only place where its washed by a machine.

However whenever it rains or I wash it with a "water pistol" no condensation appears so I just gave up washing my car at the dealer
