squealing belt, pulley on startup???

i have a stock MCS, no mods, i'm wondering, whenever i start my car cold, i am hearing some sqealing.. i don't know if it's the belt or the pulleys (i don't know what pulley) but after a minute or so, it disappears.... is that a major problem or what? or is that normal? i never heard this when the car was new before....

would give it a try....

but sometimes, it doesn't happen and sometimes it does...

is it really the belt tensioner pulley wheel? my mini has just motored 1200km...

Is the squeel most noticeable on colder mornings? There was talk about the belt rubbing against slightly misaligned pulleys and causing squeel especially when the belt was cold and less pliable. I know GTT sell a "more pliable" belt which they say should reduce the squeel.

the sqeal disappeared!!!! just lubricated the hydraulic belt tensioner...
