HI,I have a question,can you hook up , amplifier on existing stock stereo if yes,please explain how Thanks

Either use a amp with high level inputs (kenwood do) & splice the factory speakers wires
OR use a line out convertor

At a MiniCooper rally yesterday, I heard the oem head unit used with an Alpine F240 powering 2 Polk 6500s (front) and 2 690s (rear). A line out converter was used.

While it didn't blow the windows out, (not intended to) it sounded great...a significant improvement in distortionless volume and clarity over stock.
