Help Is Removing Handbrake

Hi,

Can anyone help by giving a few tips on how to remove the handbrake ( I am adding some chrome bits).

From what I have read the steps are as follows.

1) Remove the front cap ( done that)

2) Squeeze the hand brake frame and pull up ( This I am struggling with). Does it need a lot of force ? Can not feel and give in the frame when I press the frame in....

3) Leaver open the two black clips on the front of the handbrake and then lift off handbake.

Am i missing a step ?

All advise happly received.

Cheers

The leather bit at the end of the handbarke is attached via a tie grip on the inside. This can can not be removed unless you remove the entire handbrake.

I have a word doc with all the instructions that came with my leather boot upgrade
but have not got them to hand at work will look them out tonight.

but it is a very simple process but as mentioned above both the handbrake and the gaer stick have hidden tie wraps!!

The best tip i could give you would be:
Unclip the cable tie that holds the leather onto the hand brake then it just slides off.

Did you unclip it by removing the handbrake and then unclipping it from the inside ?
