Problem with HK !!

So I've got the HK upgrade in the new car, and superb it is too, but I've noticed a problem...

There I was giving it some volume on the GoldFrapp, and the rear view mirror was joining in the bass line, I had to turn it down so I could see behind me

Anyone else get this, or do I just have a 'Funky' mirror?

Does Mikey do a lead weighted replacement ???

Its not a problem...just Newtons 3rd Law........every action has a positive and equal reaction....................and to me things moving under command of bass is very positive!

i like it, i check my mirrors to make sure they're "dancing" to the bass if not i turn it up

!! Just the way it is and also when you go over really harsh road surfaces too!

This is strange. When buying my car I spent 30-40 mins listening to a HK equipped Mini
and also found the mirror danced. I now have an aftermarket setup which I sometimes use
louder then my demo listening and it has better bass than the HK but the mirror doesn't
dance. Why

Harmonic Resonance......

If the frequncies of the sound you are listening to match the "natural frequency" of the mirror, then it will vibrate in sympathy....loudness of sound is not necessarily important, just hitting the right frequency....

Only normally get that on expensive Benz's and the like
