Dension IceLink firmware downgrade?

I have just upgraded the firmware on my IceLink Plus to 2B2, which I have now discovered is for BMW headunits. As I have a Kenwood headunit and (I assume) Kenwood-specific IceLink, I need to downgrade the firmware to 2.06 which it was at before (and worked fine).

With 2B2. the KW HU is now recognising the IceLink as Aux Ext only and none of the HU controls will control the iPod.

Hence I can't even select Disc 6 to put the IceLink into Setup mode...

Is there a way to reset the IceLink to factory firmware, or maybe force iPod control so I can get into setup mode and change the firmware via the iPod keys...?

TIA
Andy
