just let mikeythemini fit one of these into mine. the sound is absolutely awsome. i have got the harmon kardon and the sound is still really crisp. i am absolutely made up with it. for anyone who is thinking about an i pod interface you should go straight to mikey for it . done in less than an hour and controls are through the radio, with the playlists controlled through the 5 radio presets.
it is boss!! so forget the beemer version and go for this. you'lll save money and get a better system in a quicker time

cheers mikey

Agree about the kit and service from Mikey, even when he doesn't fit it tells you how to do it (and a Christmas card to!). Must say did take me more then an hour though, but I did fix the dash creaks doing it...

Do you do mounts for an Elise as well Mikey? Ever fitted one?

Its quite big - but take a look at brodit.com part 652723, which stereo do you have?
Or dashmount.co.uk part 71330

Yet to get the car, having a final look tomorrow ( staying family though).

It has the original Clarion, not sure of the number, it's a 2001 S2 with the sports tourer 4 speakers.

Mikey helped me out when I didn't even buy from him. Needless to say, I did finally make a purchase from him (Ians auto up circuit), and he does have the right idea about customer service, hence the reason I praise him when I get the chance. Not many companies do this anymore.
