Just wondering if anyone had managed to get a replacement head unit fitted by Mini due to CDs skipping?
I understand it's a fairly common issue, although not a massive problem it can be a little annoying.
I've got one of the Pre MP3 playing units which does skip & as the car's still under warranty i thought it might be worth a try telling them about the fact it skips & that i'm not happy. Would be nice to get a new head unit in the hope it doesn't skip & also thought they'd probably fit the latest model which might just play MP3s then too (maybe that bit's me been too hopefull, but hey
)
Either way just wondering if anyone had any experience of trying to get this type of thing done under warranty?
PS- Does anyone else find the reception of their radio not great either; all my other head units in others cars have had much better signals than the Mini seems to on a couple of the stations!
