| The standard alarm that MINI sells is a dealer install. This means that you can get it done locally. It arms with the keyfob and has a high pitch siren (not the horn). Install takes a day (by the dealer) and dealer is required to activate. After market can be done, but I would be very careful about who you let do it as the electrical system is this car is very sensitive to outside devices. |
