Thoughts on headrest mod.

I was looking through the forums and came upon a thread whch I thought was quite good.

Anyway I have had an e-mail from the company in America who embroider headrests. They have done a job on a few minis and they have quoted me $66 to embroider them and $25 to send them back. Getting them there is down to me.

Do you all think it is a nice touch, as I think it is good value for money for such an individual mod. The workmanship seems to be top drawer.

Thoughts please.....

They embroider the John Cooper Works logo? A but naughty that is!

But I think they look pretty nice.

Surely there's somewhere that'll do it in the UK...if not in your town!

Loads of places would be able to do it, I'd imagine there's more little places that do emroidery and car trimming than people might imagine, I bet it's pretty easy for them to do.

Paul,

You may be right about other places doing it. I have had alot of embroidery done on t-shirts/polo shirts for work in the past. The only problem is the set-up charge. This depends on the number of stitches involved, more stitches = better quality, but more £

I may have a look around and make a few calls, but the guy in the US had got it all set up so there is no initial charge.

Thanks for the comments guys.
