DIY Boost Radio with AUX, CD Changer AND Bluetooth

Hello!

Anyone know any answer to the following question?

I've recently done the following to my car:

- Upgraded from WAVE to BOOST radio (so have new wiring looms).
- Kept original factory changer in the boot connected.
- Also connected an IceLink to the AUX port for my Ipod.

What I'd also like to do is try and connect some kind of Bluetooth kit which will work through the stereo, possibly muting it when calls come in etc. Is this still possible now that I'm using both the CD changer port and the AUX port on the back of the head unit?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

What type of ice link have you connected, I though that it was a choice of either the ice-link for the changer ?

Regards

It's the ICELINK LITE, bought from NewMiniStuff.com.

It doesn't allow me to change tracks by the head unit, but I'm not too bothered about that as I have mounted the ipod in a dock which is close to hand anyway. It does charge though.

the parrot kits (ck3000 onwards) do what you want...however with all the aux feeds used I don't know if it will work. Speak to mikey...he sells them and just helped me out with a query on oldstyle MFSW and compatability.

Thanks -

I had thought the Parrot, but came to the same conclusion as you since both ports are used. Perhaps there's a way to split the AUX input.

The parrot kits can be used with one of my wiring adaptors
