Moss MINI told me to just pull up on them real hard and they would come off. I had an 02 MC and this didnt work. It actually ruined the pins and Moss MINI ended up paying for new door pin installation becuase of their bad advice, which was pleasing to me. Supposedly after 02 you just pull up hard, but I'm to scared to try again.

I have replaced my door pins with flashing red LED's in the doors.
I removed the pins by taking off the inner door trim casing and then disconnecting the meatl rod from the lock mechanism.
It simply pushes/unclips out of the lock and then it can be threaded out of a small holed grommet in the metal door panel.

I'd love to see the final article - are they flashing all of the time?

Ian,

They don't flash @ all @ the moment as theye are not wired in.
The idea was to bget them to flash with the Alarm LED in the Column Stalk but the connection required is elusive..........

This look good not lit as only the hemispherical end of the LED shows in the hole in the bezel.
